Try it and see. On iPhone, mixing and locked-screen playback are usually opposites for a web app — turning this on may stop narration when you lock the phone. If it does, leave it off for pocket listening and use it at the desk.

Export writes one file holding every document — its text, folder, voice and where you are up to. Save it to iCloud Drive and it is backed up. Narrated audio is left out: it regenerates from the text, and would add hundreds of megabytes. Your app key is left out too, so after importing on a new device, enter it above once. This is a snapshot, not a sync — export again after adding anything.

Add this page to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen). Safari clears an ordinary site's stored audio after about a week of not visiting it, and only the installed version gets proper lock-screen controls.
